Been over a week trying to talk to someone at the Reno office
You have to have an appointment to talk to someone at SSA. However, no one (other than a computer) answers the phone. And after listening to a few minutes of how you should go to the website, the computer informs you that all agents are busy and to try again later. How can you schedule an appointment if the computer keeps hanging up on you!?!
I have been trying to get through to someone over the phone for months, I never get past hold. I set on hold just to have a recording come on and tells me all agents are busy please try your call later and hang up on me. I have tried every day of the week and all different times of the day nothing has made any difference. My daughter had a stroke and we applied for disability in May she cannot work and has no income she is in a wheelchair. We went to the office when we were in Reno for her doctor appointment to make an appointment to see someone. We were stopped at the door and were not allow in the building it was raining, still can’t come into the building. We just wanted to schedule an appointment that we cannot seem to do over the phone. You cannot do it online it has to be over the phone, but you cannot reach anyone to help you. Unbelievable SSA maybe workers do need to be in the office to do their jobs. Please Answer your phones.
It is impossible to get hold of anyone when calling their Phone number it tells you it is busy and hangs up. I am trying to get an appointment, how else can you do this ?
If you go in person they will not let you in without the appointment. So much for service.
